Teaching Crew

Angad's roots are in India, the birthplace of yoga. He begin is yoga journey in Australia. He traveled to India in 2020 and acquired knowledge of yoga while travelling and learning in the most beautiful places. Practising yoga has inspired him to share this wonderful knowledge of movement and awareness with others.

Having finished his higher education in Australia and working as a design professional, he travelled to India and was introduced to and inspired to change his course and pursue the practice and knowledge of yoga. He trained under Iyengar-style teachers in Rishikesh and Dharmshala. His classes are focussed on the alignment of poses which helps students to be deeply aware of their own inner body. He has also completed his Ashtanga Vinyasa training in Mysore which inspires him to include its philosophy in his offerings. Angad's classes are inspired from the 3 external limbs of Patanjali's Ashtanga Yoga - Asana (physical poses), Pranayama (breathwork), Pratyahara (withdrawal of senses through gaze) which will lead one to the state of meditation and eventually samadhi, which is the ultimate goal of the yoga journey.

Angad is along the path of the yoga journey. He learns as he teaches which inspires him to keep going.
