THINGS TO BRING

  • Props: At Humming Puppy, we provide all the essentials for your yoga practice: mats, blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters.

  • Amenities: You’ll also have access to abundant amenities, including showers, shower towels, premium bathing products, and styling tools, so you can travel light!

  • Heated: Our classes are heated to 27 degrees celsius. We suggest bringing a sweat towel, which is also available for purchase.

WHERE ARE THE PUPPIES?

  • Puppies: Yes, our name is Humming Puppy, but just to clarify, we don’t have any actual puppies at the studio! The term "Puppy" is a playful nod to Downward Facing Dog pose.

Class Packs

  • All class packs come with expiration dates.

  • Non-Refundable: All classes are non-refundable.

Cashless Studio

  • We accept all major credit cards as our studio does not handle cash.

On-Arrival & Late Policy

  • Check-In: Upon arrival, please check in at reception with our friendly team.

  • Studio Access: Doors open 30 minutes before class begins.

  • Late Arrival: Our late policy is strictly enforced. If you arrive even a minute past the start time and are not checked in, you will not be able to join the class.

Technology Policy

  • Our studio is a tech-free zone. Phones and other devices are not allowed in the practice space.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation Window: Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the class begins.

  • No-Show Policy: If you fail to cancel or show up, the class will be deducted from your account.

  • For Monthly Members/Unlimited Pass Holders: Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a $15 fee.

Waitlist Policy

  • Joining a Class: The waitlist opens 2 minutes before class starts. If spots open, waitlisted clients will be added to the class.

Health & Safety

  • We maintain a no cough, sneeze, or sniffle zone to ensure a safe environment. We reserve the right to turn away anyone displaying these symptoms.

Membership Policies

  • Age Limit: Participants must be at least 16 years old.

  • Animals: Animals are not permitted in the studio, except for registered service animals.

Membership Terms & Conditions

BILLING

  • Automatic Renewal: Memberships automatically renew month-to-month until canceled.

  • Price Adjustments: Humming Puppy may increase membership fees with advance notice.

  • Class Expiration: Monthly classes expire at the end of each month and do not roll over or qualify for refunds.

  • Commitment Term: Memberships require a 3-month minimum commitment. Early termination fees apply.

  • Non-Transferable: Memberships are personal and cannot be shared.

  • Non-Refundable: All memberships are non-refundable.

Suspension & Termination

  • Suspension:

    • Members may suspend their membership for 30-90 days within a 12-month period.

    • Requires 14 days’ written notice sent to nyc@hummingpuppy.com.

    • A $15 admin fee applies if the notice is less than 14 days.

  • Termination:

    • Members may terminate their membership after the 3-month commitment.

    • Requires 14 days’ written notice sent to nyc@hummingpuppy.com.

    • Membership continues until cancellation is confirmed via email.

    • Early termination incurs a fee of 50% of the remaining months’ fees.

    • A $15 admin fee applies if notice is less than 14 days.

  • Policy Violations

    • Membership may be canceled, suspended, or terminated without notice for breaches of policies.

    • Humming Puppy reserves the right to refuse entry or services for any reason.
